Eternal Pawprints

I miss the wagging tail, the joyful bark,

The tender purrs that lit up the dark.

Their presence, a comfort, a solace so true,

A bond unbreakable, cherished and grew.

Through playful antics and gentle gazes,

They brought joy and light to my loneliest phases.

Their pawprints forever imprinted on my soul,

A reminder of the love that made me whole.

I long for the warmth of their furry embrace,

Their gentle nuzzles and their loving grace.

Though they've crossed the rainbow bridge with grace,
