The Bakery’s Symphony
In the morning hush, the oven glows, A melody of warmth where dough arose. Flour dust dances in the early light, Kneading dreams in the quiet night. Golden crusts and rising loaves, Each with a story the baker knows. A symphony of scents fills the air, As sugar and spice blend with care. Whisked eggs, soft and bright, Mingle with butter, creamy and light. Chocolate chips in doughy beds, Like sweet thoughts in sleepy heads. Piping bags, with steady grace, Adorn cakes with a frosted lace. Tarts and pies with berry gleams, Hold secrets in their fruity dreams. The mixer hums a gentle tune, While doughnuts fry in the afternoon. Eclairs with cream, éclat of bliss, Offer the taste of a stolen kiss. Cookies bake, crisp and round, In each bite, joy is found. From the croissant’s flaky fold, To the warmth of bread grown old. In the bakery, the day unfurls, A world of sugar, spice, and swirls. Where every bite, fresh and sweet, Is a poem you’re meant to eat.
