Escaping Flyswatters

~

By Rowan Finley Published about a year ago 1 min read

Riding on the scales of a dragon,

arms aching from hanging on for dear life.

Zephyrs blew and shook me,

but I was determined to stay and be.

Purple clouds skipped by,

flames took their time to die.

Adventure lust,

I must.

As I am a fly on the flank of a wild dragon.

Watch out for those flyswatters… not everyone appreciates a thrill-seeker!
