We decided to go to escape room and we stayed.

I was busy find the clues about you.

I was looking at the way your eyes lit up when you found something new.

I was studying how your mouth creases up when you smile.

I was looking at all the things that I loved.

You on the other hand we’re trying to escape the escape room.

You search far and wide for these clues it like you have this room.

You got so frustrated because it took so long.

You got mad at me because I was taking the road to you.

After the hour mark past you looked at the door and just walked out.

You didn’t look back

you didn’t even say goodbye.

I realize the door was unlocked all the time.

All you had to do was get up and leave.

But you found the things that hurt the most,

the excuses that would let you out

and move onto the next base.

They’re here I sit alone realizing that I allowed the door to be open.
