Erasing Uncertainty

The God in Man

By Darlene EllenburgPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Man is losing faith

in his fellow man,

but in his sorrow, he creates.

It erases his uncertainty.

Patrick Henry created a freedom speech.

Martin Luther King created a dream.

John Lennon created a musical revolution.

The path took them to imagination.

Imagination took them to the inner world.

Safely away from man,

they found God inside.

They found their faith.

I read their words,

and I find faith.

I find God.

I remember love.

I remember what it feels like to believe.

Icy confusion melts

in the light of faith.

It never was about having faith in man,

but love.

Unconditional love.
