Minority

In the heart of democracy's embrace,

Lies the quest for equality's grace.

Where voices are heard, and choices made,

In the tapestry of society's shade.

Yet in the dance of civic duty's call,

There lies a disparity, stark and tall.

For while the Civic Engagement Commission stands,

To translate languages, across the lands.

In the realm of voting, their voices ring clear,

As languages translate, removing fear.

But in the corridors of the Department of Vehicle,

The translation's absence, leaves lives feeble.

For minorities seeking a license to drive,

The language barrier, they strive to survive.

Their dreams deferred, their hopes adrift,

As they navigate a system, without a lift.

In the tapestry of justice, a thread is frayed,

As disparities in service are displayed.

For why should one have a voice so clear,

While another's hopes are lost in fear?

Let us bridge the gap, let us unite,

In the pursuit of justice, in the fight.

For every voice deserves to be heard,

Every dream deserves to be spurred.

So let us stand together, hand in hand,

And build a world where equality stands.

Where language is no barrier to dreams,

And justice reigns, in all its beams.
