I write to you from miles away

With pen in hand, and heart at play

The thoughts within, too much to bear

I hope this letter finds you there

The world outside, can be unkind

A constant race, to keep in line

But in these lines, I hope to find

A way to ease, my worried mind

Oh, friend, how do you carry on?

When life feels like, a marathon

Do you have days, like I do too?

Where all you want, is to push through?

But maybe life, is not a race

And what we need, is a slower pace

To breathe in deep, and feel the grace

Of moments still, in this fast-paced place

So here I am, with pen in hand

A letter sent, across the land

To say I hope, that you're alright

And that you'll find, some peace tonight

With love and hope, I sign my name

And wish that peace, is what you claim

Yours truly,
