crimson wonderland
laced with gold and emerald—
just for an instant.
~~

🍂 I got some time off in the forest at work because the forester was 2 hours late. So I sat down under an oak tree and wrote at least a dozen of haikus for this challenge. I finally got myself a waterproof notebook, so I can write down my ideas.
Thank you for reading! 🍁
P.S. I try to get back to everyone with the comments but I am often off the grid for 10+ hours a day. So bear with me, and don't be surprised if you get an answer in a week.

The fleeting nature of autumn is felt in your haiku. Great job!
Love this one 🍂 such vivid colours captured in a fleeting moment.
I can tell you're having fun with this challenge. I can't wait to do a few more myself, lol. This one turned out great! 🤩
I can see the crimson forest. Just beautiful.
This is as crisp as the picture. Love it
The bold and clever choice of using two words in the first line — filling the rest with their syllables was a great choice. It said a lot in a little. Crimson took over. I could imagine it being laced with gold and emerald. The use of emerald really brings that otherworldly feel. Just for an instant. Gave that all satisfying finish with a tinge of sadness. Amazing work here Imola 🤗 ❤️
Crimson wonderland is a wonderful expression! this was an eloquent entry that really highlights what i love about autumn! well done, lass!
A waterproof notebook is sooo cool! Loved your Haiku, especially the crimson wonderland!
