Envision
A poem about my dream.
Envision a world where you are in true harmony with the entirety,
Where a bird can perch on you sans the fear of death or threat,
Where you willingly lend yourself for it to sit, though not for eternity,
Where it can look you in the eye to tell you that all is well, it was a treat.
Envision a world where a tree and you smile at each other,
Where it need not envision you with an ax in your hand,
Where it knows you have a kinship close to being its mother,
Where it can tell its peers to cheer, “You are now safe on this land.”
Envision a world where children can trust us sans any hesitation,
To give them back a world that’s outright habitable and relishable,
To live and love, to breath good air, to be healthy sans unwanted medication,
To eat grains and nuts, fruit and fish, that aren’t sprayed and inedible.
Envision a world where you aren’t a hamster on a wheel,
Where you don’t run and shun unaware of your real destination,
Where you don’t take a pill for a problem, you only naturally heal,
Where there’s no chaos, no deadlines, no regrets, no stressful situations.
Envision a world that can help you to be in oneness with your higher self,
Where intimate dialogues with your soul render immense pleasure,
Where everything and everyone around connects thou with thyself,
Where you live a life laden with meaning and purpose that you’d truly treasure.
