Envious Moon
Destined for darkness

Everlasting it seems.
Clouding the world in hollow darkness.
Longing to devour a lantern brighter.
Infinitely envious while
pirating light.
Sequestered to the night with no audience.
Embracing the majesty of the day, even if for a moment.

Love the way this is written. Keep up the good work
I love your poem, "Sequestered to the night with no audience" is a great line!
The bards are turning over in their graves...new bards are making their lights dim. Beautiful. Congrats.
Congratulations on your top story
Back to say congratulations on your Top Story! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
Many wonderful lines!
Congratulations 🎉🎉 for top story that was very interesting and important information
"Sequestered to the night with no audience." What a stunning line! Congrats on the top story!
I like how this piece explores the contrast between sun and moon, and how darkness temporarily takes the place of light in the day. Personifying makes these objects and concepts more alive, and “Longing to devour a lantern brighter.” is a wonderful piece of imagery Mohammed😊
congrats on the top story
