Perplexed by advanced mathematical computations,

endless rhetorical strategies

and 400 plus years of our history,

There lays a necessary degree of clarity

An understanding of such great magnitude

That when understood, rids the need for

derivatives, diction, and of course, D-Day

Entropy.

A lack of order or predictability

A gradual decline into disorder

Whatever definition you may find

Us humans, conditioned for battle,

Are in constant fight against entropy

Tidy rooms, Trimmed bushes

Law and Order, you could say.

Like an unstill wall

of invasion and

unrelenting stubbornness

A barrier of unknown will

systematically,

unapologetically,

mechanically,

imposing an unfathomable weight

A weight not felt by the birds

Who soar across the night skies

Energized by life as it is

nature poetry
