Enough

What could break this silence?

Enough

Sinking, this heavy weight in my chest

Its pulse all I can feel in the room

Like a child, I am alone again

Echoes of who we could be across an empty table

No questions answered, bids ignored

Ceaselessly wondering which words could be enough

Enough to break this silence

Acrostic

“Echoes of who we could be across an empty table” a wonderful line in the middle of this Hannah. It’s poignant and feels heavy with the silence.

This is so eerily poignant- the sadness and stillness are both so tangible. Beautiful work, thank you for sharing this excellent take on the challenge! :)
