engaged in battle against a tempest
experiencing sorrow

Wounded and worn,
battling tempest's scorn,
Facing nature's force,
to cling to norms, endorse.
Fear to move, to release,
unknowingly granting lease,
To pain's unwelcome stay,
unyielding night and day.
If only you'd grasp,
to mend, pain must unclasp,
Lower your defenses, feel,
rain's healing touch, so real.
Roaring waves will seize,
and guide you to tranquil seas,
Escape chaos's cruel lore,
lay aside the oar.
Here, memories bloom,
loss's sting finds its tomb,
Love transformed, not gone,
heart's celebration lives on.
In a love that alters, bends,
yet in your heart, transcends.
