Staring down at her own sleeping body, Emmy was having an out of body experience.

The mirror to the right displayed the reflection of a natural and angelic looking version of herself.

It was curious, and she examined the surroundings more thoroughly around her bedroom and home.

Things were the same but certain elements were different.

A loud screech was heard, and an unknown being come upon her out of nowhere.

A Humanoid type of robot that looked similar to a transformer came after her.

She appeared back into her body but was paralyzed.

Watching helplessly as the creature came upon her, she noticed this black electricity emanating from it.

The hairs on her entire body stood up.

The predator laid on top of her, speaking into her mind and making her his captive.

Powerless, Emmy tries to scream or move, but she cannot.

As the struggle goes on, the being communicates to her that she is weak, and he is strong.

He laughs at her, informing her that there is nothing she can do.

The more she fights and begs, the bigger the monster grows in size, and the black static engulfs her.

All she can see are two big orbs for eyes.

The torment felt as if it lasted hours until if felt as if she was fading away.

Suddenly she was wide awake in her bed.

Alone in the dark, she fumbled for the light as quickly as she could.

The rest of the evening she hugged herself and sat upright, not wanting to fall asleep ever again.

fall asleep ever again.
