Endings

Holding back tears

By Maili PaulPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

"Silence," she pleads her heart,

Inside her head she is screaming,

Looking at him, hoping he turns around,

Emptiness consumes her,

Never looking back, he disappears,

Clutching her chest, she buries her broken heart,

Ending everything they were with silence.
