Empty Spaces
From the depths of darkness.

Trudging on-
No joy, no light.
Who’s the dead one?
No end in sight.
*
Drowning-
Seas of sorrow surround me.
Waves over my head.
Just turn and let it be.
*
Painful memories-
Empty spaces.
Can I fill them?
Erase your traces?
*
Darkened rooms-
Silence invading.
Try to move on.
Your scent ’s decaying.
*
One more time-
Calling out your name.
The darkness hears…
*
And calls back like a game.
