Empty promises, whispers in the wind,

Words that once were sweet, now a bitter sin.

Love that once was strong, now shattered to the ground,

Trust betrayed, a heart once whole, now forever bound.

The echoes of deceit, ringing in my ear,

The memories of love, now replaced with fear.

The promises of forever, now broken and gone,

The love that once bloomed, now wilted and forlorn.

The tears I cry, a river of pain,

A heart once pure, now stained with disdain.

The trust I gave, now gone forevermore,

The love that once was, now forever sore.

The emptiness inside, consuming me whole,

The pain I feel, an endless toll.

The betrayal of trust, a wound that never heals,

The love that once was, now lost, and no longer feels.

Empty promises, whispers in the wind,

Words that once were sweet, now a bitter sin.

Love that once was strong, now shattered to the ground,

Trust betrayed, a heart once whole, now forever bound.
