A poem about your beaming starlight haunting me

You are a star

Oh so far

I tried to reach out

Tried to hold you in my hand

As I stood on the beach with my tip toes in the sand

But no attempt to reach you could ever be enough (Or am I not enough?)

You're beaming starlight has left me haunted

All I wanted

Was to safeguard you in my pocket

It's that starlight in you I've admired

But my arm is now tired

I won't reach out anymore

(I deleted your number again. I finally get it this time. I won't reach out anymore. I'm sorry I was such a bother.)
