In empty halls, I wander wide,
A solitary figure, side by side,
With shadows cast, and silence deep,
My heart echoes, in a lonely sleep.
The city buzzes, outside my door,
Yet in my soul, a hollow roar,
A longing for connection, true and kind,
A sense of belonging, left behind.
In crowded rooms, I feel alone,
A stranger's face, in a sea of stone,
No gentle touch, no loving gaze,
Just a vast emptiness, in endless days.
The stars above, a distant hum,
A reminder of life, beyond this numb,
A hope that someday, I'll find my way,
To a warm embrace, and a brighter day.
Until then, I'll hold on to the night,
And let the darkness, be my guiding light,
For in its depths, a spark remains,
A flame of hope, that refuses to wane.

What a melancholy poem....oddly and sadly beautiful.
The meaning is really deep 😭😭😭
