In forests deep, where canopies sway,
Green's soothing balm envelops the day,
The scent of fresh-cut grass and leaves,
Fills lungs with sweetness, as the heart breathes.
The rustle of ferns, the chirping birds,
Echo through the glade, where sunbeams stir,
Dappled shadows dance upon the ground,
As green's calming essence wraps the world around.
But then, like passion's fiery spark,
Red bursts forth, igniting the dark,
The crackle of flames, the warmth on skin,
As crimson hues evoke the heart's deep din.
The taste of ripe strawberries on the tongue,
The velvet softness of a rose's young bloom,
Red's bold, beating pulse, like drums in the night,
Stirs the soul, and sets the senses alight.
Together, green and red entwine,
A harmonious balance, like the heart's rhyme,
A symphony of color, scent, and sound,
Echoing through the senses, all around.

Beautifully done!! an aside - I was walking one day and came upon a litttle forest of those mushrooms near a pond. I snapped a photo before someone could stomp and crush them - I was happy no one did that!
