Embracing the chaos that embellishes within me

To be lost in the mirth of truth or to be dipped into the misery

Embracing the chaos that embellishes within me

Chaos belied in its mindful tune as the atrocities of the uncertain waves began to dance,

To be lost in the mirth of truth or to be dipped into the misery of the unknown, the jubilee felt in a trance,

Riding on the high of merriment, the accolade of melancholy found its nature true,

To shed its skin, to burn every morsel of the old and to embrace the new.

--------

I wish to hide, to bury my faith under the peonies of sadness that smile,

To strand myself on an island unknown, to go on a walk with unshed tears

Where no one knows me for a thousand miles.

For familiarity in its comfort renders the excitement that the unknown brews,

Caged in its free spirit, the soul dives into its shell, the depths of which no one knew.

-----------------------------

There is beauty in isolation that brims the voice of curiosity that strides,

Through the crevices of new reforms, on the brink of transformation one abides.

In the silence of echoes that enrage in my mind,

The radiance of hope in its purest form, I hail to find.

A million narratives of how I should be, summon their way through my front door,

Only to lose their brevity before the eyes of the light I behold to my core.

------------------------------------------------------

To be lost in the joy of my melody or be found in the depths of the blue,

I am the redemption and I am the chaos, the one who embraces every scar under her sinew.
