Eleyes' Masterpiece: Through Every Season
Verse One:
Shy, sharing her warmth,
But when she smiles,
She lights up the Universe.
Beneath a temperamental coldness lies
A struggle solely for you to hear her thoughts.
On a bicycle,
She rides through life's journeys,
Through winter, spring, summer, and fall.
A 74 year-old playwright, not yet in New York City,
She may never see Hollywood,
But that doesn’t stop her from helping in her community,
Nor being the best she can be as a person,
Through all struggles, pain, and sorrow.

Hard knocks don’t stop her from dancing in the rain.
I love to see her dancing,
Lost in a moment in time,
For a brief second,
No more worries on her mind.
At lightning speed,
She loves Christ.
When you look at her,
You realize that’s her husband.
She honors Jesus first in her life endeavors.
Verse Two:
You won’t find her in Fendi, Gucci, or Chanel.
Her shoes are a little worn,
Most couldn’t walk a mile in them.
You know her heart by her character,
Big as the moon,
Playing spades in a world
That has misplaced its creative imagery.
She dances on stars,
The drumline breathing through her aorta.
The world may not have seen it, but she is a Picasso,
A Leonardo da Vinci with a pen and blank paper.
No Da Vinci Code needed,
An unrealized masterpiece.
