Eleonora’s falcon soaring above my

Lilliputian vision of many things to come

Elevating my demeanour towards the sky

Over summer clouds enveloped by inner thrum

Neverland and only space wherever I gaze

Onyx tones caressed by the fastest feathers flown

Remembering days and nights spent in loving haze

Although the spirit is choosy in what is shown

Leonora may have been a falcon before

Every bird of prey became sorely endangered

On the wings of eagles many minds wanted more

Neglecting to see life is frequently wagered

O woman veiled in sadness as the world chimes end

Reasoning each hour as tyrants refuse to bend

Always rooting for some happiness she can blend
