Fresh burst cuts right through
Later lazily yawning
a sleepy soft breath
Beneath sun-baked dust
Pitch enveloping blanket
Suffocates with cold
Dangerous warm kiss
Glowing bright hypnotic dream
Shrivels and consumes
Stagnant pond gone putrid
Envies trickle of clear spring
And crashing white caps
