Secret chamber waits

Fertile ground from which life springs

Hope blooms, expectant

*****

New soul awakens

In womb of water, cradled

Its thirst for life quenched

*****

Human form takes shape

Forged by fiery love, maternal.

Destiny ignites

*****

New life emerges

Once-silent lungs expanding

First breath, fate’s first cry

About the Creator

Audrey Steele

I'm a math teacher (my apologies to the math-haters out there) but words are actually my jam. Unlike algebra, which has few practical uses, words are a powerful, creative force. They can stir hope and inspire change. They are live-giving.
