Air heats in the dunes
And melts the snowy hilltops
To bring about spring.
Fire dries the flowers
The living seeks the water
On hot summer days .
Earth claims falling leaves
That turn orange in the trees
In cold autumn winds.
Water crystals fall
And blanket tall mountains white
On a winter morn.
