In a whimsical world of earth and sky,

Lived elemental beings, oh so spry.

They danced through days with a playful spree,

These funny creatures, wild and free.

First came Earth, so steady and stout,

With soil for hair, he'd often pout.

But underneath, he hid a heart so kind,

For all things rooted, he'd tend and mind.

Next was Air, a breeze so light,

With fluffy clouds, he took to flight.

He'd whisper secrets in your ear,

And tickle your nose, make you cheer.

Then Fire, a jolly flame, so bright,

He'd dance and flicker through the night.

But though he burned with fiery glee,

He'd warm your heart, you'd soon agree.

And Water, with her gentle flow,

In rivers, lakes, and oceans would go.

She'd sing a song of endless grace,

A soothing hug, in her embrace.

These elementals, quite the crew,

With antics that would make you chuckle too.

They'd play their games, in sun and rain,

Each day, a new and joyful terrain.

One day, Earth said with a grin,

"Let's have a race, come on, join in!"

They raced 'round hills and over dunes,

Kicking up dust 'neath silver moons.

Air zipped ahead with a gusty blow,

Fire crackled, putting on a fiery show.

Water flowed like a river so fast,

While Earth stumbled, but came in last.

They laughed and cheered, a jolly sight,

Under the stars, in the soft moonlight.

For in this world of earth and sky,

These elementals were friends, oh so spry.

So if you find yourself feeling down,

Look to the elements all around.

For Earth, Air, Fire, and Water too,

Will bring a smile, just for you!

In this funny world of elemental glee,

They'll fill your heart with jubilee.

So dance and laugh, be wild and free,

With elemental beings, as happy as can be!

Dear SF ~ So glad you could relate to 'The Sacred Vows' as that one jumped the generation demographics; who knew. It was written as a goof as to who would 'host' our Poker game. I wonder how you choose your topics and how you write so many at one time? The headings are so gorgeous. Best to you, JK
