Scorching as he goes /
Wings of Icarus crumble /
Dream incinerates.
Hurricane and waves /
Poseidon screams asunder /
Drowning in the depths.
Quaking, crumbling stone /
The bones of Earth are breaking /
Mother Nature weeps.
Whistling wind I hear /
Knowing that a storm is near /
I dance in its breath.

Clare Shortal
Since I could first string a sentence together, I've been a passionate storyteller. Creating worlds and characters and bringing forth emotions in myself and others bring me such clarity and purpose.
