Elemental Evermore

Quadra Haiku

By Clare ShortalPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Scorching as he goes /

Wings of Icarus crumble /

Dream incinerates.

Hurricane and waves /

Poseidon screams asunder /

Drowning in the depths.

Quaking, crumbling stone /

The bones of Earth are breaking /

Mother Nature weeps.

Whistling wind I hear /

Knowing that a storm is near /

I dance in its breath.
