At first glance, you were an ordinary face,

Another shadow in a sea of bodies,

Living life in your own bubble,

Somehow, you caught my eye,

Maybe it was your smile, the way it lit up your eyes,

Maybe it was the golden crown of curls that hung above your face,

Maybe it was the way your walked with grace and confidence and care,

Or maybe it was the way your eyes locked with mine,

That mix of greens swirling together,

With hints of gold flakes that made them shimmer with light

You watched me with such intensity,

Communicating a greeting with your eyes as they danced with mine,

That smile from before finally returned and lit up the room

That's when the humming of the electricity began,

Gathering and whirling in my chest with such power,

The electric current that tethered us together and draw us to this moment

The expression in your eyes shifted as you walked towards me with curiosity,

Extending your hand as a physical greeting,

An introduction as the electricity kept building

The first touch of our skin sent sparks flying,

The electric current binding us together through soul and mind,

Intensifying the longer our skin connected,

The soft warm touch of your hand against mine,

Created the urge to never let go,

The humming of the electricity drowned out all thoughts, except for one,

I want to know you and love you

The sparks finally turned into explosions of fireworks when you smiles once more, with a question of interest from your lips,

Turning the world into the background and our bubbles became one,

The electrifying love shook me to my core,

Making me realize that this moment was it,

This was the act of love at first sight
