Efforts in Silence

Acknowledging the Importance of Staying Connected

By samrin mohammadiPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In a world that's moving oh so fast, We often forget the moments that should last. Don't ignore the effort, the love they share, It's not all the time someone truly cares.

Invisible threads that bind us tight, Through the chaos and the darkest night. Messages sent, calls made, in earnest clutch, Each touch, each word, they mean so much.

But we get busy, life's a relentless race, Caught up in the hustle, losing sight of grace. Don't take for granted those who dare, To show they love, to show they care.

Their texts may be brief, their calls may be few, But it's in those moments, their love shines through. Don't dismiss the effort, don't let it fall, For it's in the small things, you find it all.

So next time a message pings on your phone, Or a friend calls you, when you're not alone, Pause for a moment, show them you're aware, That you value the effort, that you know they care.

In this world that's filled with noise and strife, Let's cherish the love that's the essence of life. Don't ignore the effort, don't let it slip, It's a lifeline of love in a world that can be so crypt.

So here's to connections, both near and far, To the friends who care, no matter where you are. In the effort to stay close, let's be aware, That love and friendship are precious, oh so rare.
