Wandering Through the Fog of a Fragmented Soul
In the fog of a fractured soul,
Where shadows play their cruel role,
A maze of sorrow, paths unknown,
In this bleak landscape, they walk alone.
Echoes of laughter, distant and faint,
Memories twisted, a ghostly taint,
Faces blur in the misty night,
Lost in the darkness, devoid of light.
Once clear visions now obscured,
By a veil of anguish, allured,
Voices whisper in the cold,
Stories of despair, silently told.
The world outside, a distant dream,
Unraveled seams in a silent scream,
Trapped in a realm where time stands still,
A hollow heart with no will.
Eyes that search but never find,
Comfort or solace in the bind,
Tears that fall like silent screams,
Drowning in an ocean of broken dreams.
Bound by chains of unseen fears,
A prisoner of the haunted years,
In the void, they silently drown,
A soul eclipsed, forever bound.
No one hears the cries within,
A battle lost, a life grown thin,
In the quiet chaos, they fade away,
A shadow in the night, lost to the gray.
