Eclipsed Dreams

The Resilient Glow of Hidden Hopes

By Iqbal LodhiPublished about a year ago 1 min read
Eclipsed Dreams

Beneath the weight of unturned stones,

Lie dreams eclipsed, in silent tones,

Their whispers lost in shadows deep,

Where hidden fears and sorrows creep.

Once vibrant visions, bold and bright,

Now linger in the dusks of night,

Unspoken hopes that fade from view,

In shades of gray, in muted hues.

Yet even in the darkest hour,

A spark remains, a latent power,

For dreams once stilled can rise anew,

With dawn's first light, in morning dew.

So hold them close, those fleeting dreams,

Though hidden, lost, or so it seems,

For in the heart's most secret place,

They wait to bloom with quiet grace.
