Each rotation I make around our star,
Crystallises my ambitions and dreams,
Learning and perhaps growing wiser,
I make the same pledge to myself,
Promised quietly as time marches on,
Sliding past past me, who slips into the shadows,
Energising me with her whispered wishes.
