Eclipse

last chance

By Cassandra WarrenPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Every chance she had with us, no matter what we say

Clinging to her truth, she did, to throw her shot away.

Laying down a falsehood, to, alienate and confuse

Indicating her colors, had switched so we would lose.

Pleas and stories spouted forth, blackened by her lies

Save you not, our new response

Erasure, now what fly’s.
