In the golden haze of yesteryears,

Where memories dance and laughter cheers,

I wander through the corridors of time,

Seeking solace in moments sublime.

Oh, how I long for those days of old,

When innocence reigned and hearts were bold,

When summer stretched out forevermore,

And dreams were woven on sandy shores.

I recall the scent of rain-kissed earth,

As we danced in the puddles, filled with mirth,

The taste of ice cream on a sunny day,

Melting away, like childhood's play.

The sounds of laughter, echoing loud,

As we chased butterflies through fields endowed,

With wildflowers swaying in the gentle breeze,

Whispering secrets to the ancient trees.

Moments captured in sepia and gold,

Stories and memories, forever unfold,

Though time moves on, unwavering it goes,

Your echoes remain, like an eternal rose.

So here's to the past, a treasured domain,

Where nostalgia's sweetest notes remain,

In the verses of life, a melodic score,

Echoes of yesteryears, forevermore.

oh, how I year!
