"Echoes of the Soul"

a poem

By Sen SabPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

Beneath the sky, so vast, so wide,

I wander lost, with none to guide.

The echo of my heart’s desire,

Still burns within, a flickering fire.

The world around me moves too fast,

While I stand still, caught in the past.

Memories cling like autumn rain,

Each drop a sorrow, each drop a stain.

I’ve called for love, I’ve called for peace,

Yet all I’ve found is a restless cease.

A hollow sound, a silent cry,

The world moves on, and so must I.

But in the quiet, I still hear,

A voice that whispers, “I am here.”

Through every storm, through every night,

The soul remains, a spark of light.

I’ve walked through valleys, cold and bare,

But still, I rise, still, I care.

For though the winds may howl and scream,

I hold onto the fragments of my dream.

So when the shadows come to call,

I will stand strong, I will not fall.

For deep inside, I know it's true,

The strength of the soul can carry through.
