Echoes of Love and Loss

A Journey Through Heartbreak and Redemption

By RKPublished about a year ago 1 min read

In quiet hours, I hear your name,

A whisper lost in time,

Through corridors of faded dreams,

Where love was once sublime.

A heart once full, now heavy weighs,

With memories bittersweet,

Of nights we danced beneath the stars,

And mornings incomplete.

The sweetest joy, the wildest woe,

Is etched upon my soul,

For love that bloomed then slipped away,

Has left me far from whole.

Each fleeting touch, each stolen glance,

Is branded in my mind,

A fleeting ghost of what was us,

Now lost, forever blind.

But still, I carry you with me,

Though distance keeps us far,

A love that burned so brightly once,

Now flickers like a star.

And if one day our paths should cross,

Where time and fate align,

I'll hold you close, as I once did,

And claim what once was mine.
