Echoes of a Sunlit Sky
A Poem on Youth, Memories & Timeless Beauty

The wind hums through golden fields,
carrying whispers of childhood laughter,
soft as the hush of falling petals.
Barefoot on sun-warmed earth,
I once raced the shadows of passing clouds,
wild, unbound, infinite.
The scent of rain lingers on my skin,
a memory stitched into the fabric of time.
Each droplet, a note in the song of yesterday,
singing of long-forgotten stories
woven into the roots of ancient oaks.
Oh, how the river knew my name,
its silver hands carving dreams in the shallows.
I traced my future in ripples and reflections,
watching the sky unfold in trembling waves,
never once fearing the depth beneath.
Now, with years stacked like autumn leaves,
I gather these moments in open palms,
holding them up to the sun—
glowing embers of a life well-lived.
For even as time shifts like tides upon the shore,
some echoes never fade.
