Earthen&now

šŸƒ

By Rowan Finley Published 3 years ago • 1 min read

Wild horses sing with their hooves that chop the earth,

Stars blink and wink with grand mirth.

Dark mountain edges hide and seek,

This night is utterly unique.

Cool air, warm hearts, skin fair,

Magnetic lips, pulling closer, they stare.

Lead me when I’m lost,

For all the sleepless nights I’ve tossed.

For all the dreams I buried,

And tried to marry to reality, or carried.

Faithful fugitive fights,

For all a father’s rights.

Noble and strong,

As a sturdy ship, who won’t be gone long.

Hold my hand and run freestyle,

For when earthen splendor is so soothing, we race the extra mile!
