Early morning disdain poem.

It was May the first at the break of daylight,

The sight of scurrying out my window,

As the neighborhood toiled on as per usual,

A constant hustle, a constant grind,

That random golden retriever walking on a leash,

With that cheerful woman with a good attitude,

That made everyones day seem to go a lot better.

The sound of the rustling of the engine,

The ignition of flame and fuel as the long grass in m neighbors yard met its doom,

I considered all that was going on,

And all that very well could be,

A sudden thought came into my mind,

"It's too early for all of this. I need some coffee."

... Because early mornings, for some people, are just not a thing.

*Sarcastic eyeroll.*
