Dysgenic Woes

Am I Whatever You Think or Say I Am, or Am I Just "Me"?

For better or for worse, abortion and transgenderism are both eugenic,

A topic so divisive, with views that are strong, and beliefs that are strategic.

On the Left, progressivism's glow is shining effulgently and oh so bright,

Smart and successful, they believe and see themselves leading workers with all their might.

For them, a brave future beckons, with a world that's more tolerant and inclusive,

Where biases and prejudices are left behind -- making strides -- no excuses.

But on the pontifical Right, a different tale, a harsh narrative of fear,

"Perverts, deviants, and degenerates," they proclaim, voices loud, and ever clear.

"Spiteful mutants," inferior stock, and bad seeds in their eyes, with features so grotesque,

Degenerate, resentful, sick, dangerous beings, causing societal wrecks.

Yet in this clash of square ideologies and dogmas, where lines are sharply drawn,

The essence of fragile humanity persists, from every glorious dawn to dawn.

For beneath the wooden labels and the words, beyond the heated angry debates,

Exist souls seeking understanding and compassion, breaking free from age-old fates.

While eugenics strives to define and divide, to restrict, categorize, and box,

The indomitable human spirit soars and thrives, breaking every paradox.

For in the end, we are all only drops of water in this holy cosmic rain,

Seeking love, empathy, and reciprocity in a world that's riven by pain.
