Dying Wish

Poem

By Desmond RazzanoPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

I almost feel alive again. Sure wish that you were mine again.

Heal me, you’re the vitamin. Overdose me, you’re my vicodin.

Just love me until it hurts you. Deal with me ‘til it urkes you.

Your energy left some residue. Engage me like your words do.

Stay with me for the rest of our lives. I won’t just be someone’s whiny bitch.

Come a little closer because I won’t bite.

You’ve always been my dying wish.

Your love’s always been my death-

Wish. My blood has dried, but it’s still kind of red-ish.

Brought me back to life, but I’m still sort of dead-ish.

If you can't walk the walk, you shouldn't have even said shit..to me.

Feelings can develop instantly.

It’s not okay to trust if the trust is in its infancy.

I confess this with my dying breath.

I’ve lived my share of curses, I’ll be damned if I’m not dying blessed.
