Duck Garden

page 1 poem

By Chick OrlandoPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Writing in spite of and in the light of a dimly lit room allows for free flow of creativity without judgement of your minds eye,

And although it is found drenched and disguised with caffeine and thoughts of freedom and drugs does not mean such intrusive insights and unwanted spiritual awakenings are unfounded

Great poets throw darkness unwarrented,

Unleaded ideas allowed to flow are dangerous to the author as society avoids their flame

Destructive power is often unwieldy in the hand of megalomaniacs of the self

The starving poet discards their heart

My house is not a good place to live

My house is not a good place to live

My house is not a good place to live

My house is not a good place to live

surreal poetry
