Dry Spell
A Drought of the Imagination {Writer's Block}

When the writing becomes hard and it feels like you are forcing it.
Rereading your words only promotes more frustration.
Imagination has fled you one too many times.
The writing comes to a standstill and just won't flow any further.
Energy is wasted on rewriting every sentence to get that flow just right.
Readers impatiently are waiting for a new story to read.
Sometimes it's best to take a break and go for a walk.

But most sit and stare at their screens, punishing themselves for that which they have no control
Leaving your work alone is best at this point.
Once the block is gone, your writing will flow and flow.
Completion of your work becomes possible.
Knowledge is power when wanting to defeat writer's block, so keep up the research.
