Drowning on Purpose

because the truth was louder

My silence

It's the loudest sound I’ve ever heard

It creeps in

Deafening

The feelings I swallow

The secrets I keep

My silence

It drowns me

Or is it the bottle

Drowning me -

Better than silence ever could
