Drowning

By Jessica Porter

By Jessica PorterPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Howling in the distant sun remains,

Upon a moonlit daze, ignite my

love, overflowing in the vastness of

the dark,

I see the beams of hope and loss,

reveling in the strain of hatred and

despair,

fleeting graze of light come shining

down, I once was lost,

now, now I'm no longer found,

hidden like a vegabond in the

night,

you'll find me aware, of the sound,

your heartbeat makes until the sun

goes down,

distressed for a beat,

up again we'll meet,

my love for you wont drown.

A sigh escapes my wandering,

pondering lips, as I gaze into the

beyond, a vast chasm down the

middle of us.

My heart beat a silent decadence

for which you've been longing to

try.

........Drowning.
