Dropped like an old shirt
Challenge: a nonet poem about a relationship breakup
By B.B. PotterPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

A not so lucky purple shirt. Photo: B.B. Pottery copyright 2024.
We don’t have much in common these days,
I thought we might work it out. Then
I saw you wearing the shirt
from that night at the fair.
Dreams not restored. Not
Forgetting that
I don’t like
lucky
shirts.
