As I dribble on my Drabble

I think, perhaps,

I Should have stuck with Scrabble.

My forehead wrinkled,

My Fingers cramped,

And definitely I should have tinkled.

My pen well chewed, my paper crumpled

My palms are clammy

My Shirt front rumpled

To compose a tale complete

You know truly ‘tis quite hard

With but a hundred words replete

Delving deep into my mind

I search the whirling morass

Hoping inspiration to be kind.

Perhaps a tale of woe and sorrow,

Or a lovers first fiery kiss

Or maybe I’ll think better tomorrow.

Dang it all! Dribbled on my scribble.

The above silliness is 100 words in length, fictional, and, as such is a Drabble. 😂😂 A silly poetic Drabble, yet, still a Drabble. Now let me get back to my game of Scrabble.
