My warm, naked body
submerged under bubbles,
The heat from the water
has softened my troubles.
With candles around me;
their flames gently dance.
I let out a sigh,
my mind in a trance.
Now, after I soak;
I rinse with a shower,
then dust my whole body
with light fragrant powder.
I slip on my robe;
the one made of fleece,
I can't help but notice
I'm finally at peace.
Now, after a while;
once comfortably fed,
I sprawl out my body;
alone in my bed.
I gaze out my window
and look to the stars;
they smile back at me
and fade all my scars.
Nostalgia's so wholesome;
A bitter-sweet bliss,
Each moment so perfect;
as I reminisce.
The world is now quiet,
no thoughts left to think.
Wrapped up in my blankets;
I let myself sink.
