Some days, it is so hard to follow your dreams,

Especially when not all is as it seems,

We all need to know what life really means.

[Author's note: The Stornello (plural: Stornelli) is a poem with 3-line stanzas. Each line has 11 syllables, and all three lines in the stanza rhyme(ish). The second line can be a *slant rhyme.

This form of lyric poetry is said to have originated in Tuscany, Italy, as improvised entertainment performed by singers in a tavern. One singer would improvise a Stornello, and the second person would respond with their own improvised Stornello. I think of them as Haiku poems in steroids!]

If you like Stornello poetry, I have another one:

Till next time,
